We loved the central location of this hotel, as it was within walking distance of Wusi Square and close to many restaurants and shops. Also, it was convenient to have Carrefour department store just across the street. The hotel facilities were great, with a swimming pool and a reasonable gym available. We also enjoyed the breakfast with fresh cooked eggs and omelettes, and the staff was efficient and helpful.
Nothing, all was good.

Booked.net reservation did not found from hotel. Long long discussion in reception what to do and also discussion about price of room and price of breakfast. Discussion again when checkout...

All in all an excellent experience. All staff was friendly and greeted us warmly. Good choice of restaurants to eat close by, like The Diner that was only 10 minutes' walk away.

The location is very nice, it is the city's business downtown in front of Carrefour. We had a room on 21 floor with seaview and could enjoy the view of WuYuFeng (May's Wind) monument and regata sailing harbour (when it was not too foggy). The deposit for the room was returned to the credit card very soon after check-out.
Although we booked a non-smoking double room on high floor with sea view, first we were offered a room on a smoking floor with city view. The smell there was horrible. The hotel stuff informed that there was no room according to our requirements. The only thing that finally was offered to us was a twin room (so we had to move the beds together) on non-smoking floor and with sea-view. Of course the first minutes at the hotel were not pleasant, since we booked long time ago and expected to receive what we exectly booked. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi was only on the ground floor.

The breakfast buffet was quite complete, and it gave us energy for a good part of the day. the location was very convenient, close to some key attractions and shops. Our room was clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly and polite.
The noise level in our room was unbearable. We could hear every single step of the person in the room above us and the noise from the nearby street made it almost impossible to sleep at night.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, even though I arrived late at night. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and got me settled into my room quickly. The breakfasts here were outstanding, with a great variety of options including freshly cooked eggs and omelettes. I particularly enjoyed the coffee, which I've loved since my first visit years ago. The room rate was very reasonable and included breakfast, as well as access to a club floor with free coffee and refreshments throughout the day. The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable, perfect for someone like me who prefers a firmer mattress. Plus, the size of the bed was huge and luxurious.
This hotel is not a modern, fancy, top-of-the-line establishment. However, given the price I paid, I would definitely choose to stay here again if I ever return to the city.

The hotel enjoys a prime location in the heart of the city, offering easy access to multiple shops and restaurants. Carrefour shopping center and Jusco are only a short walk away, and public transport is easily accessible. Guest rooms are well-maintained, with comfortable beds and spacious interiors. Breakfast is generous, featuring an excellent selection of freshly cooked eggs and decent coffee.
The swimming pool changing rooms and some staff behavior seem to require improvement.

Good central location - ocean view room with lots of space and generous size bathroom. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again as we felt it to be good value for money.
The only thing that annoyed me in the whole stay was the inability to swim in the pool without a swimming cap - I shake my head at the logIc of the Chinese sometimes when they won't let your hair go free in the pool for fear of germs, but they let People spit in the grate on the edge of the pool - go figure

This was my third time booking this hotel. You can see one of my previous reviews here on Booked.net. This hotel has gone downhill. It is quite expensive for what you get in return. Our room was basic, old, and there was no WIFI. The room service menu is now a channel on the TV. You have to watch the channel for about 5 minutes to see the entire menu. Neither the business centre nor the concierge would help me order train tickets, even though the ticket office is across the road and the hotel was not busy. When I was checking out they wanted to charge me for four cups of tea, even though I only ordered, received and drank one cup. (I had ordered it via their room service). They made me wait 40 minutes and called me a liar when I repeatedly assured them I only ordered, received and drank one cup of tea. Eventually they agreed to fix the bill but took great pleasure in telling me I am lying. I live in China so I am aware customer service levels are poor here. Also, I am a patient person and fully accept I am a foreigner in a different culture. But regardless of this, they made me feel like a criminal and I left the hotel quite angry. I will never stay at this hotel again.
